My Personalized Protocol

An overview of my current protocol.

01 · Food

Food & Nutrition

A low glycemic, nutritiously dense, plant-based approach — with the exception of wild salmon for omega-3 support.

My approach subscribes to Brendan Brazier’s high net-gain food philosophy — foods chosen for the net energy and nutrient gain they deliver after digestion, not just the calories they contain.

03 · Movement

Exercise & Pacing

Strength, Mobility & Flexibility

I am focusing on a personalized exercise approach with my physiotherapist which focuses on a targeted approach with my unique body and musculoskeletal alignment.

VO2 Max Training

My VO2Max is currently 43. I spend most of my VO2Max training on zone 2 and now I am actively swapping traditional HIIT for 4x4s.

04 · Surroundings

Exposome & Environment

Architecture

I renovated my home to make it compatible with my routines and also to serve as a form of nervous system co-regulation. I am now in the process of switching homes and starting from scratch again.

Weather

I created a weather human performance app called Planetary Load, so I could better adapt to adverse weather elements.

05 · Signals

Data Capture, Devices & Diagnostics

Wearable tracking

I use Oura, Garmin and Whoop.

Ambient tracking

IQAir and AirThings for air quality, plus a home weather station for proximal telemetry.

Diagnostics

Regular blood work, mammograms, and Whole Genome Sequencing for biological configuration mapping.

Environmental support

Air purifiers, seasonal synthetic sunrise lamps for winter months, and a red light therapy panel.

Facial care & microcurrent

Dr. Gross red light therapy face mask and Ziip Halo micro/nanocurrent device.
